Pop-Up Travel Card

Happy New Year to all!

My grandchildren are off to the east coast

for a holiday, so I thought I'd take the

opportunity to make this card for them.

I just recently bought a Cricut Everyday

Pop-Up Cartridge, so I have cut out the

phrase and images from it, I also have

stamped and added glitter glue to the card.

I guess I'd better make another the same,

might be trouble if they have to share. ;-)

Folded Xmas tree Card

This week I thought I'd have a go

at making a folded Christmas tree card

which I saw on Loz's blog. I have

used a designables folder, red glitter

glue, rhinestones, star brad and

a punched frame.

Reindeer Xmas Card

Not many sleeps to go now!

The background of this card, I cut out

on my Cricut machine, the rest are die cuts

and I added glitter glue, rhinestones and

red adhesive pearls.

Forever Friends Xmas Card

This week I made the 3d image, which came

with a recent magazine, the background is

a die cut, I have added SB paper, ribbon,

glitter glue and a Christmas tree brad.

Xmas Carols Card

It's a wild and windy day in Perth today!

I've made a quick card this week, I have 

been busy settling my mother back home.

This card has been made with some die

cuts and rhinestones.

Origami Xmas Wreath Easel Card

After spending six weeks in hospital my Mum

has finally come home. She has had a stroke,

but not a very bad one thank goodness. She 

has some memory loss and her mobility is 

getting better. 

My card this week I got the idea from Crafty Capers

I was in the store last week when I saw the origami 

Christmas card and they kindly gave me the pattern.

I have used die cuts, a bell, rhinestones and I heat

embossed the sentiment.

This week I thought I'd try something a 

little different, I got this idea from a 

Hobbyjournaal project. The Santa and

Sleigh and also the Christmas sentiment were

stamped and heat embossed, the label,

poinsettias, reindeers and front sentiment

were die cuts. I added some glitter glue

and adhesive rhinestones. Am entering this in Make-it-Monday#115

Winnie Xmas Card

I made this 3d image a couple of years ago,

it took ages to cut and glue, so many tiny 

pieces. Last night I finally assembled the 

card, the sentiment is a die cut and I have

added some glitter glue.

Orchid Card

Thank you for all the thoughtful comments,

my Mum is still in hospital, hopefully she will

be able to come home in a couple of weeks.

I made the 3d image of the orchids, glued

it on the Marianne die cuts ( I just love this

die) and embossed the back card.

Vintage Boy Xmas Card

This is all I could manage to come up

with this week, my mother is still in

hospital, but she seems to be getting 

better.

I made the card with a 3d image and

various die cuts.

Beary Merry Xmas Card

Finally got myself into gear to make a card,

my mother had a fall a week ago and she has 

been in hospital ever since. It's been an 

emotional roller coaster ride, hopefully she 

will be able to come home in the next couple

of days. 

I stitched the card last night and made the 3d

image today

Vintage Santa Card

This card was fun to make, it has been punched with

 a Martha Stewart punch and threaded with some

ribbon. I made the 3d image and added some flower

soft to Santa's cuffs and hat. I glued on some holly

punches, added some self adhesive rhinestones,

glitter glue and stamped the sentiment.

Girls Birthday Card

Last week it was my granddaughter's birthday,

my mother didn't have a card to give her, so I

made this one for her to give to our special 

little birthday girl! The card has been made

with a 3d image, punched border, ribbon, 

adhesive pearls and die cuts. My granddaughter

got a scooter for her birthday also!

Basket of Holly

I got this idea from a card featured in a 

magazine, but it wasn't a Christmas card.

The card has been made with holly punchies,

ribbon, glitter glue and rhinestones. The 

basket is a Marianne Craftables die and the 

embossed background is from a Marianne

Designables folder.

Santa Card

Another vintage xmas card! The music

has been stamped on white bazzill, with

the border been cut using a Marianne die,

the image is a 3d Santa, I added flower

soft to his cuffs and hat, I also added a 

charm and ribbon.

Stitched Vintage Xmas Card

I made this card last night, I inked the edges,

  made the 3d image and stitched the border.

 I have also added some white flower soft 

to the girls hat, adhesive pearls and glitter.

I've had a busy weekend cleaning up my

craft room, I've collected so much stuff!

The rubbish bin is now full, but my mission 

is not complete, I'm now concentrating on

filling up the recycling bin with old papers

and magazines. I made time to make the above

card, which I made with a 3d image, die cuts,

punched border, rhinestones and a stamped

sentiment.

Xmas Girlfriends Card

Yesterday I had a play with my new Art Impressions

Girlfriends stamp, I used pens to colour my image.

The background paper is SB paper, the border is

made from a MS punch, the poinsettia is made from

a Marianne die, I added glitter glue, rhinestones

and a peel off sentiment.

Aussie Xmas Card

Last week I found at a local craft shop, some

Aussie theme scrapbooking paper, the images

on the paper are suitable to make 3d images!

So here is my first attempt, I added embossed

green card, highlighted with some gold rub on,

peel off sentiment and a holly vine die cut.

Today I  have made use of a die that Laurel

gave me for my birthday! I hope she approves

of my work, I added a 3d image and adhesive

Xmas Quilt Easel Card

The Cricut Machine came this week and I

cut out some Quilt designs from a Paper

Lace cartridge. I added a 3d image, die cuts,

 rhinestones and I stamped the sentiment.

I love the Snoesjes characters! I made the

3d image, I stitched and beaded the card

and added some peel offs in the corners.

Stitched Bird House Card

Another bird house card, but this time

I have stitched the shape and I used some

punches, beads and I made the 3D image.

I also used a watercolour pencil for 

shading.

I made this cute little 3d image

last night, I spent most of the day

deciding what to place it on. I found

this card which was already punched

and embossed. The embossing I enhance

with glitter glue.

A quick card this week! The background

is scrap booking paper, the baubles

have been punched from a EK punch,

Stitched Xmas Card

My first Christmas in July card, I was busy

stitching this card last night, while watching

television. I made the 3d image and added

some adhesive pearls in the corners.

Flower Card

                                Just a quick card this week,  I haven't had much

                             time for card making. The card above has a 3d image

                               of a rose, SB paper background, punched border,

                                   peel off sentiment and some glitter glue.

Carousel Birthday Book Card

                                 Finally got to work on the carousel book card,

                                 with the help of Laurel's tutorial. I have made

                                 it for my granddaughters birthday, it's not

                                 perfect but it shall have to do. The front cover 

                                 has a punched border, the sentiment and number,

                                 I have cut on my Cricut Machine, using a Birthday
                                 Bash cartridge.

Quirky Bear Card

This week I chose this quirky bear to make

into a 3d image, the sentiment has been 

stamped and heat embossed, the border

I used a MS punch, I finished the card with

some glitter glue, button and ribbon.

Carousel Xmas Card

I just love these dies, I think I'll give this card

 to my granddaughter for Christmas. I used a

Cottage Cutz Carousel Horse die, an Anja

lace border die, SB paper and adhesive 

pearls. I enhanced the card with some rub

on gold.

Magpie Easel Card

This week is my son's 36th Birthday, 

so I had to come up with an idea for 

a card. He has always been a 

 Collingwood supporter (much to the

disgust to the rest of the family).

I printed of several copies of the logo 

from the Internet and made it into

a 3d image, the football I also found

on the Internet. The image has been

glued to a die cut, which I inked the

edges with a cotton bud. The card

was then finished off with peel-off's,

SB paper and a punched edge.

Now to clean up my mess!

Wedding Card

I have made this card from a kit, the image is a

3d, I have hand painted some glitter glue on some

of the embossing. The card is for a friend who is

getting married next month. I'm afraid it hasn't 

photographed very well, maybe I needed more

natural light.

Blue Wren Card

I have stamped and coloured the image with

pens, also I added a touch of blue glitter. The 

circle has been stitched and beaded, I then

finished the card with peel-off stickers.

Wishing Well Card

I made this 3d image at my craft group

today, I think it is a cute image. I used

some SB paper for the background, added

paper flowers and the leaves I cut out

on my cuttlebug.

Mouse Birthday Card

I love the house mouse collection of stamps,

I used alcohol pens to colour this image, SB

paper for background, the card has been 

embossed with CB swiss dots, a punched 

border, die cuts and peel-off sentiment.

Mothers Day Card

Mothers day in two weeks, so thought I'd 

get to work on this card. Most of the dies

I used were creatables dies, The grass

background I cut from Cricut, A Child's

Year, the fence is made with corrugated

card and fine wire, the flowers I made 

from a Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms die,

 I finished the card with a peel off

sentiment and glitter glue. I am entering this in Make-it-Monday#87-Anything goes

Vintage Card

Fortunately this was a pre-cut 3d image, I'd 

hate to cut out those tiny pieces myself. I used

my CB Swirls embossing folder, some SB paper,

die cuts, punched border, velvet ribbon and a

peel off sentiment.

Twisted Pyramid Fairy Card

Last night while watching Dancing With The 

Stars, I decided I would bead and stitch this

card, I then added the twisted pyramid (I 

actually dislike making pyramids, I always find

them difficult to line up) and I then added

some pearls in the corners.

Woody card

Next week is my grandson's birthday, so

yesterday I thought I'd get to work on his

card. Last year I made him a Buzz Lightning

card, he then put in his order for a Woody

card for this year. I have a Toy Story 

Cricut cartridge which I used to cut out the 

characters, I used some of my Cuttlebug

embossing folders and lots of glitter glue.

The card opens three ways (I guess it's 

a tri-card), the first picture below is the 

front.

Cameo card

Another week flown by, I'm afraid this is the 

only card I have managed to make. The embossing 

folder came with an Australian cardmaking 

magazine, I just love it! I used some SB paper,

die cuts, and a peel off sentiment.

Umbrella Man card

Yesterday I had a play with Perfect

Pearls to create the background of 

my card, I also used some embossing

powder to my die cuts and swirls.

The base is SB paper, the house and

lamp post are from Cricut Heritage 

and the umbrella man is a Tim Holtz

 Sizzix die.

Geranium Card

I'm back to my cool and calming colours, so  

hot in Perth! I made the 3d image, stitched

the border, added pearls and used SB paper

for the base.

Get Well Butterfly Card

This was a quick card to make, I used a

precut 3d image, an EK punch for the

border, a CB embossing folder for the back

-ground, ribbon and a sentiment peeloff.

It's hot again in Perth today, I sure hope

this is the last of the hot weather!
