90th birthday card

Today is my mothers' 90th birthday, quite

a milestone! We celebrated yesterday with 

family at a nearby restaurant. I like to 

personalize special cards with photos. The

photo of my mother was taken in WW2, when

she was in the army, before children, 

grandchildren and great children. During the

week I made her a scrapbook album about her life,

 which was a big hit when I gave it to her at the 

restaurant yesterday.

I made the card with die cuts, SB paper,

paper flowers, ribbon, peel offs  and used a 

MS punch for the border.

Baby Boy

This little man reminds me of my grandson,

a real little climber at a very early age.

 I saw the idea of making this card, in a 

 recent issue of a Dutch magazine. I used a

birdcage die, 3d image, a stripe of rhinestones

and embroidered the border.

Seated Girl

I have had my eyes glued to the telly, watching

the Australian Open tennis, what an amazing

final on Sunday night! Now I'm back into my craft 

room, I made this card last night. I made the 3d

image, attached a die cut, pearls, paper flower, 

chip board label and punched gate background.

Male Birthday Card

I thought I'd better make some birthday

cards for my brothers, so here is my first 

attempt. I used a Wild Rose Studio stamp,

coloured it with watercolour woodless, 

pencils but unfortunately being so warm 

here, the colour dried too quickily! 

The background has been embossed with a 

CB swirls embossing folder (my favourite), 

finished off with some peel-offs, 3d glitter

glue and ribbon.

Floral Beaded Card

This week I'm back into beading, I made the

3d image and added some peel-offs into the

corners.

Friendship Birthday Card

The weather in Perth is sooo perfect lately,

warm days, fresh afternoon sea breeze and

cool nights but I suppose the hot days are 

ahead. My card this week I have used a 3d

image, peel off sentiment, a little paper flower,

die cut and I have punched the background

card.

50th Birthday Card

Happy New Year to everyone!

This is my first effort for the new year, I

have plenty of cards to make for family and

friends over the coming months. The card 

above I have stitched and beaded, I made the 

3d image, added a sticker and the background 

has been punched.
